Validation of Acquired Experience

We handle your experience

At IUPLS, an esteemed American University, our Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) program is designed to empower professionals by formally recognizing the skills and expertise they have developed throughout their careers. This innovative program acknowledges that valuable learning occurs not only in a traditional classroom setting but also on the job and through diverse practical experiences. By offering VAE, IUPLS provides a pathway for individuals to transform their professional achievements into academic credits, accelerating their journey towards an advanced degree.

The VAE process at IUPLS is meticulous and personalized. It begins with a comprehensive assessment of your work history, training, and real-world accomplishments by industry experts and academic professionals. This rigorous evaluation ensures that every skill, competency, and piece of knowledge you have acquired is carefully validated and mapped to our academic framework. Whether you are seeking to transition to a higher academic level or aiming to enhance your professional profile, our VAE program streamlines the traditional educational path without compromising on quality.

Embracing the VAE approach means that your hard-earned experience is directly acknowledged and valued, reducing the need for redundant coursework while opening up opportunities for further specialization. At IUPLS, we are committed to supporting your lifelong learning journey, bridging the gap between practical expertise and academic success. With VAE, your career achievements become the stepping stones to an enriched educational experience and a brighter future in today’s dynamic professional landscape.

TYPES OF VAE

Multiple ways

Extended Academic Recognition (EAR)
The EAR pathway is intended for individuals who have pursued formal studies outside IUPLS—whether at universities, schools, or training centers in the United States, or other international institutions. This option allows candidates to obtain full or partial diploma recognition by demonstrating that the courses they have completed correspond to our targeted academic units. Such validation helps streamline the process of integrating external academic achievements into the IUPLS framework.

Competency-Based Professional Access (CBPA)
The CBPA route caters to those who may not hold the traditional diploma but have amassed significant professional and personal competencies. Candidates opting for this pathway are typically individuals who have paused their initial academic pursuits for at least two years—or three years in cases of previous unsuccessful attempts. This route acknowledges experiential learning, providing a valuable opportunity to access further training without conventional prerequisites.

Coaching and Mentorship Validation (CMV)
The CMV option is designed specifically for professionals who have developed coaching and mentoring expertise over time. By evaluating hands-on experience and leadership in guiding others, this pathway verifies your capability to transfer knowledge effectively, thereby facilitating entry into advanced training programs.

Industry Experience Accreditation (IEA)
Our IEA pathway formally recognizes long-term work achievements and the practical application of skills in real-world industry settings. This option is ideal for professionals who have demonstrated sustained excellence in their fields, ensuring that every form of acquired expertise is valued and seamlessly integrated into the IUPLS academic experience.
